2008 Green Street Vendor Application

OVERVIEW

This is your chance to put your products in front of more than 167,000 enthusiastic fans at the fourth annual Lollapalooza, America's premier rock festival. For three days in August, Chicago’s Grant Park is transformed into a tour de force of music, art, fun stuff for kids, food, interactivity and community. With more than 100 bands and performers on eight stages, Lollapalooza is one of the mightiest entertainment collectives anywhere.

Green Street is the public face of Lollapalooza's green mission. This is our forum for showing the fans simple yet effective ways to live a life more green as well as the measures the festival is taking to reduce its carbon imprint. Green Street debuted in 2007 and proved to be an extremely popular and well-attended feature. The area is conveniently located in a highly visible spot just off the main thoroughfare and is also wonderfully shady and grassy. This is the only craft vending area on the grounds and will be limited to 12 vendors.

VENDOR DETAILS

Green Street only accepts vendors selling eco-friendly, sustainable and/or fair trade products.

Festival Hours: Fri-Sun, 11am - 10pm
Green Street Hours: Fri-Sun, 11am - 7pm
Booth Size: 10-ft x 15-ft
Booth Fee: $925 ($900 vendor fee + $25 Itinerant Merchant License Fee)
Lollapalooza Provides: 10-ft x 15-ft tent (no walls); exterior tent sign; one (1) 110-volt outlet plug (20 amps); four (4) vendor passes/day

TIMELINE

Application Deadline: April 30*
*Applications will continue to be accepted after this date until all spaces are filled.
Vendor Notifications: Beginning May 15
Booth Fees Due in Full: June 30
