2015 Food Vending Application
Deadline to Apply:  April 24, 2015

OVERVIEW

Lollapalooza is back to celebrate it's eleventh year in Chicago!  Our food courts feature a wide selection of delectable menu items with an emphasis on the best from local Chicago restaurants.  This three-day landmark Festival set in Chicago's beautiful Grant Park draws 295,000 fans over the weekend.

If you're interested in joining the food court or Lolla Farmers Market at this year's festival, fill out the application below and click the "Submit" button.

Our food courts set us apart in the variety and quality of menu selections.  We seek Chicago (and area) favorite restaurants, and want to offer our patrons much more than the typical "carnival" type fare, with an emphasis on fresh, reasonably priced items from the Chicago area.

TYPE OF BOOTH DESIRED

There are four categories of booths.*
1)  Entree
2)  Dessert/Snack
3)  Beverage
4)  Farmers Market

*Food Vendors are not allowed to sell bottled water, alcohol, or soft drinks.  Vendors may not sell any merchandise other than food, beverages, or dessert/snacks.  The Beverage category is for specialty drinks such as smoothies or coffee. Farmers Market booths are reserved for current vendors of Chicago-area farmers' markets.
I am applying in the following category.

FARMERS MARKET

The Lolla Farmers Market is located in Green Street, an area dedicated to sustainable practices. It is separate from the food courts and intended to provide Lollapalooza fans with the opportunity to enjoy and support Chicago area sustainable food production. Vendors in the market should not expect to sell as many units per day as Chow Town vendors. Note that there is no cooking allowed in the farmers market and you must be a current vendor of farmers markets in the Chicago area in order to be considered.

MENU

The main goal of our food courts is to serve our patrons quality menu items by professional, friendly staff--with wait times kept to a minimum.  Make sure your menu selections can be served in a timely manner.  Critical to efficient turnaround (and more sales!) are points of service.  20 x 20 booths must have 6 - 8 points of sale.  10 x 20 booths must have 4 - 6 points of sale.  10 x 20 farmers market booths must have 3 - 4  points of sale.  All menu items and pricing subject to approval.
All vendors will be limited to a maximum of 3 (applicable to dessert, snack, and beverage vendors) or 4 (applicable to entree and Farmers' Market vendors) items. Provide a brief description of each item with pricing.  Prices need to be in whole dollar amounts and are subject to approval.

SIGNAGE

Our Creative team designs and produces the signage for all booths, ensuring a unified, professional and visually appealing food court.  The booth name, booth logo, menu items and prices are featured on a colorful banner.    The simpler the description, the better.

No additional signage is permited.
List your food items and the price (whole dollars only). Type carefully! If selected, this spelling will be posted online and printed as your signage. Label any vegan (V), vegetarian (VGT), and gluten-free (GF) items.  All pricing and items are subject to approval by C3 Presents.

ADDITIONAL OPPORTUNITIES

Lollapalooza hosts 600-800 members of the press each year in our Press Lounge where they interview artists, file their stories and gear up for the next show. They’re working long days, and we try to take care of them by providing drinks, snacks, happy hour, and daily lunch and dinner. This is a great opportunity for our vendors and sponsors to showcase their products directly to press and artists. If you’re interested in providing a meal, snack or product for the Press Lounge, please select the "yes" box below, and someone from our Lollapalooza Marketing team will contact you.
