On Wednesday, June 5, 2013, The Advocates for New Jersey History will host the first History Leadership Awards Program and Reception at the Newark Museum. This special networking and awards reception is designed to engage the state’s history and historic preservation leadership to focus on the future preservation of the tangible remains of New Jersey’s past. Invited guests include elected officials and trustees and members of statewide history and historic preservation nonprofits and agencies.
Dr. Clement A. Price is the featured speaker at this event. Dr. Price is the Board of Governors Distinguished Service Professor of History at Rutgers-Newark and Vice Chair of the Advisory Council on Historic Preservation. His topic will be “American History, Historic Preservation and the Next Big Thing in Preserving Our Past."
