Dear TAPE Members and Friends,

With the theme of "Powerful Partnerships: A Recipe for Success" in place, plans are well underway for the 2011 Texas Association of Partners in Education conference, to be held January 30th through February 1st in Austin.  This annual gathering of representatives from school districts, businesses, volunteer organizations, nonprofits and other community groups facilitates the exchange of ideas and experiences related to support for education through collaboration.

A highlight of the conference is the recognition of outstanding partnerships across the state of Texas through the TAPE Education Partnership Awards.   Applications are now being accepted for the 2011 awards program.  Winners will be notified in advance and invited to the TAPE Awards Banquet Dinner, to be held in the evening on Monday, January 31st at the Austin Marriott South hotel.

Don’t miss this opportunity to share your winning recipe for a successful partnership.  Applications may be submitted online and by hard copy.  Online applications must be submitted by midnight on Friday, October 18th; hard copy applications must be postmarked no later than October 18th.  Winners will be notified by November 19th.
