The success of Texas' students is paramount to ensuring our economic future as a leader in industry and technology. Education partnerships are the most common vehicle for community involvement in education and bring many benefits to stakeholders, such as, direct financial support, identification of operational efficiencies and improvements in academic, social, and Postsecondary outcomes for youth; however, many organizations struggle to establish sustainable, effective collaborations. Join the Texas Association of Partners in Education (TAPE) as we convene stakeholders from businesses, community organizations, higher education and school districts to learn about and discuss effective education partnership practices.
Participants will:
• Learn about existing effective education partnerships within the region and around the State
• Learn best practices and steps for developing effective, sustainable partnerships with community and businesses
• Participate in a forum where participants will have the opportunity to share perspectives on partnership development
