Each year the Elementary Principals update and revise the Parent / Student Handbook. The handbook contains useful information regarding the building programs and policies, curriculum summaries, and the complete elementary school discipline code for the Downingtown Area School District.

The handbook is available to every parent / guardian in two formats: a printed paper version and an electronic version. To print, collate, staple and distribute the paper version of the handbook is a costly venture, consuming more than forty reams of paper and many hours of labor. Furthermore, the printed version does not provide the opportunity to update information throughout the school year as programs or policies are expanded and improved.

We would like to rely more heavily on our electronic version as the primary method of distribution. This version may be accessed by navigating to any elementary school through this link.

However, we will gladly provide a paper copy for any parent or guardian who indicates the need for one. Please complete the information below so that we may determine the best means of delivery.
