2009 Florida Literacy Conference Belleview Biltmore Resort, Clearwater, FL

Call for Presenters!

Proposals must be received online by Monday, December 15, 2008.

2009 marks the 25th anniversary of the Florida Literacy Conference. As a presenter, you will receive the benefits of priority registration and networking with your peers. You can also enjoy the special rate of $180.00, which stays fixed as the conference nears.

Please use this opportunity to share your wisdom, techniques, research and promising practices in adult and family literacy with others from across the state.

All sessions are scheduled to last 1 hour and 15 minutes.  If you are interested in presenting a longer session, we can schedule you for more than one concurrent session May 6-8 or a pre-conference workshop May 5.  Please note on the form if your proposed session will be longer than 1 hour and 15 minutes.

All concurrent sessions will be set up in a combination of classroom and theater style unless otherwise requested by contacting FLC.  Please designate who will be responsible for passing out and collecting evaluations, making sure attendees complete the sign in sheet, and keeping you on time.  This may be you or a colleague.

Proposals must be received online by Monday, December 15, 2008.

Proposed sessions will be ranked and selected based on the information you provide.  Since we try to offer new sessions each year, please note that if you have previously presented your proposed session it should still be relevant, timely, and updated with fresh material.

To submit a proposal, complete the online form. Once you have submitted your proposal, a copy will be emailed for your records.  Information as it appears on these forms will be used in the final conference program.

You will be notified when we receive your proposal.  Contact Yari Payne, Education & Training Coordinator, at (407) 246-7110 x 203 or conference@floridaliteracy.org.

Thank you for your interest and support!
