Kathy is the single mother of three children: Sarah, Kayla, and Henry.
She is a student of LVA Family Literacy in Readville. Kathy feels that
Family Literacy has helped her brush up on her math, computer skills,
and English skills. She really enjoys the program. Her teacher is John Smith.

Howard served in Vietnam from 1967-1968. He was awarded the Bronze Star,
the Army Commendation Medal, and four Purple Hearts. He and his wife, Lynn,
have been married for 28 years. They have a daughter and a new grandson.
Howard attends GED classes at Red Lakes Adult Learning Center in Reston County.
His tutor is Jane Smith.
