Passover Meal and Shift Survey

The Office of Religious & Spiritual Life at MHC and

the Jewish Student Union
invite you to celebrate Passover 2015 with us!

Passover is a holiday that commemorates the Exodus of the Jews from Egypt and the beginning of spring!  During this eight day celebration, the JSU and the Office of Religious & Spiritual Life will be providing Kosher for Passover food in the Eliot House's Kosher Kitchen, in accordance with the dietary observance of this holiday.  We hope you will join us.

We especially encourage you to attend our Passover Seders!  The first one on Friday, April 3 at 6:30 PM will be traditional and led by Amelia Ender, Chaplain to the College and Advisor to the Jewish Community; the second Seder will be a Student Led Seder, on Saturday, April 4 at 6:30 PM Please fill out the form below and click on the Submit Button at the bottom of this form.  Join us in celebrating this inspiring holiday!

NOTE: Reservations are required for all meals!! It is imperative that we have an accurate head count.

The final deadline is March 27  So, please fill out and submit this form as soon as you can.  We need to have time to tally all the information from everyone and prepare.

Please note that an asterick (*) before an item indicates that a response is required.

Seder meals will include meat and fish as well as many vegetarian options.  During the week, the Kosher kitchen will be vegetarian/fish/dairy only.

In order for this community observance to work successfully, all participants MUST volunteer for preparation and/ or clean-up during the week of Passover.

All participants must attend one ServSafe Person In Charge, (PIC) Passover Orientation Training Session with John Higgins, our Kitchen Manager. This is required in order to work in the kitchens. We will be offering training sessions on the following days and times. 3/24 1-3 pm; 3/26 8:30-10:30 am; 3/27 2-4 pm; 3/29 12-2 pm; 3/32 8-10 am. Those students participating in Passover events, should plan on staying for a few minutes after class to receive some additional information specific to Passover. Please note: PIC training must be renewed each calendar year. That means that even if you participated in Passover last year you must be trained again.
