Relocation Grants
Grants of up to $2000, for the purpose of relocation to Adelaide (from interstate or regional South Australia), are available to outstanding applicants who wish to study the BVA or BVA (Hons) on a full-time basis in 2022. Funds provided will support relocation costs to enable the student to move to Adelaide, South Australia.
Relocation costs supported may include:
• Freight of furniture / belongings to Adelaide
• Costs associated with a rental agreement (e.g. bond payment or connecting utilities)
• Transportation costs to travel to Adelaide (e.g. petrol / vehicle hire / airfare)
Eligibility
To be eligible for the Relocation Grant, an applicant must:
• live outside South Australia at the time of applying OR live in regional South Australia at the time of applying
• provide evidence of living outside of SA or regionally for at least 12 months prior to applying
• be an Australian Citizen or permanent resident
• be successful in obtaining a place in the BVA or BVA (Hons) - (applicants can apply for their course of study and the relocation grant at the same time) and the scholarship at the same time)
Selection Criteria:
Grants will be awarded by a selection panel. In awarding a grant, the panel will assessment an applicant's commitment to:
• relocate to Adelaide or South Australia to study undertake full-time study at ACSA
• contribute to student life and the collegial environment of ACSA
Conditions
There are penalties which may require the refund of the grant back to ACSA:
• if you completely withdraw from study without a valid reason within the first 6 months of study
• if you fail a subject due to misconduct or non-attendance
• if you accept the grant but do not commence study at ACSA
