Call for Proposals

The League of Innovative Schools is inviting our school-based partners to submit a session proposal for the LIS Fall Conference on Monday, October 28, 2019, in Norwood, MA.

We're in the process of designing a powerful and engaging day of choice-based learning for LIS members and we need your help. Share your thoughts about a session you could lead that will benefit your LIS colleagues. Are you exploring innovative practices that you think your LIS colleagues could benefit from? Have an idea for a hot-topic discussion that you want to facilitate a group through?

Help lead a day that challenges us to achieve better and more equitable outcomes for all our students.

The deadline for submitting proposals is Monday, July 1, 2019.
If you have any questions, please email the conference team at events@greatschoolspartnership.org.

Proposed Session Information

This year's fall conference will offer three different session types.
  • Presentations: Learn about the innovative and timely strategies, techniques, and approaches educators use to improve their schools. You will also get the resources and tools you need to implement your learning.

  • Workshops: Get introduced to innovative tools or strategies, then roll up your sleeves and put them to work for your school. These sessions are open to all participants, but may be particularly useful for school or district teams.

  • Discussions: Using a discussion protocol, engage in thoughtful, facilitated conversation about important and relevant topics. Get to know and gain insight from your fellow LIS members while interrogating issues that are important to you.
Please indicate which session type your topic is best-suited for. If you're unsure, let us know and we'll follow up to talk through the options. *
