Reports to: General Manager
eTranslation Services seeks a qualified and hard-working Project Manager to support management of translation and interpretation projects daily.
Job duties and responsibilities:
- Prepare quotes for clients
- Answer telephones
- Reply to emails
- Coordinate projects and efficiently predict the deadline for turning in a project and meet all deadlines
- Adhere to policies and procedures
- Answer client questions thoroughly via phone calls and emails in a timely manner
- Reports activity in group chats and actively communicates with management on tasks being worked on
- Negotiate deadlines and rates with freelancers based on HR rates when GM is not available
- Monitor and control projects status
- Perform quality checks at various stages of the process to ensure quality and accuracy (proofreading, final view)
- Handle freelancer questions
Requirements:
- Experience in project management and/or customer service
- Previous experience in the language industry a plus
- Advanced verbal and written communication skills in English (both written and spoken) and fluency in a second foreign language
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail including the ability to prioritize and multi-task
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong sense of professionalism and politeness
