Girls Inc. of Greater Indianapolis is a local nonprofit organization dedicated to inspiring all girls to be strong, smart, and bold by providing high-impact programming that addresses barriers girls face today, while empowering them to be confident in themselves, prepared for their futures, and therefore ready to take their place in the world.
Gender Statement: Girls Inc. is committed to providing the comprehensive Girls Inc. Experience to girls - including those who identify as girls regardless of their assigned sex at birth, and those who are exploring their gender identity or expression during their time at Girls Inc.
Program Overview
Young Women in Leadership (YWIL) is a multi-year, year-long leadership development and post-secondary education and career readiness program for Indianapolis high school girls in grades 9-12. This program prepares young women for their futures and empowers them to be strong, smart, and bold through interactive, immersive experiences focused on the following areas:
