Sizing Considerations

There are two considerations to take into account when sizing a whole house fan system:

Location: If located nearer to the bay where the climate is cooler, a "2 CFM per Sq Ft" system should work great. If located more inland where the climate is very hot during the day but cooler during the night, a "3 CFM per Sq Ft" system would make the most sense.

Ceiling Height: If the ceilings in the home are taller than 9 feet, be sure to select a "3 CFM per Sq Ft" system to account for the increased air volume inside of the home.
