Artwork Loan Agreement

This artwork loan agreement by and you (artist) and NIU School of Art and Design (SoAD). The artist agrees to loan the submitted artwork (object(s)) to SoAD, subject to the conflictions listed below.

  • The objects shall remain in possession of SoAD from Jan. 12 through Feb. 15, 2019, and shall thereafter be returned by SoAD to the artist or the duly authorized agent. 
  • The artist gives permission for the objects to be photographed by SoAD for publicity, condition documentation, and educational purposes.
  • SoAD permits non-flash photography by patrons.
  • SoAD will set a reasonable time for the return of the object(s) to the artist.
  • If the artist agrees to pick up the object(s), SoAD will set a reasonable time for pick up.
  • Such objects, if not withdrawn within this time period, may be placed in storage at the aartist'srisk.
