As of July 13, 2022, Governor Pritzker’s Executive Order has been amended and removes the weekly testing requirement for higher education personnel and students who are not fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
Effectively immediately, weekly surveillance testing is no longer required, and proof of vaccination is no longer required to be exempt from testing.
Additionally, students will not be required to be fully vaccinated to attend in-person classes, although we strongly encourage the entire campus community to be vaccinated and up to date on their boosters.
