Dear Class of 2024,
As the school year comes to an end and we prepare to leave Penn for new and exciting adventures, we find ourselves reflecting on the people, experiences, and places that have made an incredible impact on our time at Penn. For many of us, Hillel embodies all three of those categories and has played an irreplaceable role in our college experience. Whether through fellowships, Shabbat dinners, services, events, meals, or even just being a quiet place to study or a warm, welcoming place when we needed a little encouragement, Hillel has done so much for us.
As we look back on the things, people, and places that made our time as undergraduates so meaningful, we are united as a class by our appreciation for Hillel. Hillel helped us find community during a challenging start to our college experience and continued to support us throughout our four years. We can leave our legacies by supporting future students’ chance to meet new friends, explore their Jewish identities, and be part of communities on campus that we enjoyed so much.
