Strategic & Financial Planning

Wednesday, November 2, 2022
2:00-3:00 PM Eastern / 1:00-2:00 PM Central

Given the challenging and volatile environments independent schools face, it is vital to use data science and research to shape your strategic plans and financial decisions.

Join Harry Bloom of Measuring Success to explore strategic planning and forecasting accuracy as you approach planning for the upcoming fiscal year.

Learn what you can do right now to make data-informed decisions for your school’s financial vitality and strategic success.

You will learn how to:

  • Utilize cutting-edge demographic analysis to accurately size your school’s enrollment potential
  • Implement market research among prime prospective families to understand your school’s perceived strengths and opportunities to increase its market share
  • Determine what tuition levels are too high for consideration, high but reasonable, a bargain, and too low to connote quality education
  • Assess the appeal of offering new grades, divisions, or programs
  • Use comparative benchmarking to identify opportunities to increase staff productivity, enhance the effectiveness of expenditures, and increase tuition and non-tuition revenues.
